In 1958, Jessica was uncovered, while working the streets, by funnyman talent scout Brooklyn Calhoun, trying to get donations for a fake charity. Jessica - whose name is a conjunction of greek and latin venereal diseases - now finds herself at the top of her game, thanks in no small part to her role in a secret-organisation-that-ought-not-be-named.

The history of Jessica's roles in the industry are said to be unusual, including an optician without a pot to piss in. Jessica Salas began life as a plain-speaking optician, endeavouring in her tiny shed on a device that could convert oxygen into cows.
