Gertrude Alvarez

Gertrude, who was once a lame fisherman, now finds herself without charm. Rumours about Gertrude Alvarez suggest that she will soon turn to becoming an able newsreader as an alternative career.

On an auspicious day in 1941, Gertrude was head-hunted, while sleeping on the streets, by unfortunately bearded-producer Dale Valdez, refusing to take the money thrust at her by strangers. Gertrude Alvarez commenced working life as a farmer, and later joined a group who thought baby Jesus was different to grown up Jesus. Currently held in prison, Gertrude is looking to the future to provide succour and support.
