In 1949, Jerry was uncovered, while wandering somewhat aimlessly through life, by the producer Albert Farmer, licking dried and previously chewed gum off a comatose man's beard.

Jerry Ferguson began life as a tailor; one of many who in their youth assumed that americans invented the english language.

Jerry's potential future roles look increasingly bleak, but his is said to be looking into becoming an up-and-coming scientist.
