Rose Woodward began working as a surly painter, and later joined a group who hoarded alphabetti spaghetti in order to compose works of art. In 1974, Rose was head-hunted, while sleeping on the streets, by, what Empire Times once called the "least-dressed", producer James Braun, hustling orphans on street corners. Unsubstantiated rumours of future career possibilities as a cleaner plague Rose, and with no other offers on the table, all options are seemingly open.

Rose, who was once a wannabe electrician, now finds herself without scruples... at all... and will do * anything *.

Although four prongs short of a fork, Rose is said to be "radiant" with hope.
