Back in 1947, Arthur was head-hunted, while sleeping on the streets, by agent Mary Turner, eating his body weight in dried and previously chewed gum. Odd rumours continue to circulate around Arthur due to an aim of wanting to be able to invent a device that could translate cat mewling into cogent arguments against daytime television. The talented Arthur Jefferson (one of three equally famous siblings) was brought up part-wolf, part-fox by highly unattractive parents Clarence and Christine Jefferson. Though without any semblance of charm, or a pot to piss in, Arthur constantly finds himself linked with the most eligible partners in the showbiz world.
