Though clearly the worst person in the whole world, Emily discovered that talent was not as necessary as she'd been led to believe. The history of Emily's roles in the industry are said to be unusual, including an amiable secretary without any semblance of charm. In 1977, Emily was first hired, while panhandling for scraps, by someone pretending to be a agent Michael Thornton, after having been arrested for "arresting" fourteen people in a mock citizen's arrest (how arresting! ).
With several awards already to her name, the former winner of "fattest flower prize" is likely to be a star of many shows and films to come. Emily Shields was conceived at a time when people weren't really getting born so much, back in Barnet, to obese parents Joe and Tabitha Shields.
