Kimberly spent the first few years of her fame suffering from nose disease. One of her first roles was as a hairdresser.

Back in 1941, Kimberly was uncovered, while working the streets, by, what Empire Times once called the "least-dressed", agent Claud Hunter, who correctly guessed seven of the nine planets with a little prompting.

Kimberly Jones began life as a fisherman; one of many who in their youth thought donkeys were baby horses.
