Perennial and permanent exemplification of the proverb: a good thing is soon snatched up. Thomas spent the first few years of his fame suffering from attention deficit.
On an auspicious day in 1977, Thomas was head-hunted, while working the streets, by, what Empire Times once called the "least-dressed", fellow acting star george gamble, after having been arrested for soliciting in a creche.
Unsubstantiated rumours of future career possibilities as an it guy plague Thomas, and with no other offers on the table, all options are seemingly open.
Slightly dog-faced Thomas Cooley was conceived during a wizard's banquet in North East Lincolnshire, to beautifully coloured parents Chris and Erin Cooley.
