Billie spent the first few years of his life suffering from bedwetting. On 4th July, 1946, Billie was discovered by producer Zachariah Andersen, shouting at passers by who he claimed 'wore hats too loudly'.
Child-star Billie Newman was conceived at 06:12am, in Leicester, to parents Nathan and Mary Newman.
