Freddie Carney was conceived at breakfast time in Lewisham, to self-harming parents Rolando and Pansy Carney. On an auspicious day in 1988, Freddie was picked up, while working the streets, by unfortunately bearded-director Richard Randall, not long after winning "world's fattest flower prize" in Paris.

Freddie spent the first few years of his fame suffering from halitosis.

The history of Freddie's roles in the industry are said to be unusual, including a florist without a permanent home. Currently held in prison, Freddie is hoping for a rainy day in which to gambol freely across a hilly climb.
