In 2005, Sue was picked up, while working close by on another production, by talent scout Hiram Landry while picking up litter as part of her parole terms. The history of Sue's roles in the industry are said to be unusual, including a lecturer without much in the way of intelligence.

Sue spent the first few years of her working life suffering from avoidant personality disorder.

Sue Nielsen was conceived at a time when people weren't really getting born so much, back in Redbridge, to attractive parents Jimmie and Edna Nielsen.
