Odd rumours of future career possibilities as a shop assistant plague Freeman, and with no other offers on the table, all options are seemingly open. Though once famous for apologising to every tourist in New York, Freeman constantly finds himself linked with the most eligible weirdos in the showbiz world.
On an auspicious day in 1983, Freeman was first employed, while panhandling for scraps, by funnyman director Ernestine Travis, while holding down another job as a chef.
The precocious Freeman Strickland was born on a portentous day in 1970, to parents Scott and Faye Strickland.
