The dish that is Mary Tate
On an auspicious day in 1977, Mary was head-hunted, while panhandling for scraps, by agent Bryan Barton, who is one short DNA step away from being a turtle. Mary Tate started work as a traffic warden; one of those who in their youth voted in the election that put * that * absolute cretin into power.
Though without much in the way of brains, or a pot to piss in, Mary constantly finds herself linked with the most eligible partners in the showbiz world.
Unusual rumours of future career possibilities as an architect plague Mary, and with no other offers on the table, all options are seemingly open.
