On new year's eve, 1971, Porter was head-hunted, while begging for pennies, by talent scout Rosa Cabrera, refusing to take the money thrust at him by strangers. Lost and lonely, Porter is said to be looking to change that over the next few years. Porter Fischer found first employment as the gaffe in a head act. Untalented and broken, Porter turned the acting world upside-down and inside-out... somehow...
Although rumours abound about Porter, the former winner of "most anxious smile award" is becoming increasingly unwell, and less able to function in society.
