Disgusted patrons walk out of circus following racist clown joke

Disgusted patrons at the Suarez Bros. Circus which is currently on the Trinidad leg of its world tour, were left furious and some even walked out of the performance and demanded their money back when one of the clowns did a practical joke which they deemed racist. During the performance, the clown called up a young Afro-Trinidadian boy into the performance arena and proceeded to "take his picture" with a fake camera. After "processing" the picture, the clown handed the bewildered boy a large picture of a monkey.

While some patrons found it funny, others didn't take too lightly to the so-called joke. The irate patrons who took umbrage to the act started screaming in unison: "Racist!" "Racist!" The Circus Ring Leader tried his best to calm down the angry crowd but the damage had already been done as the offended patrons stormed out of the arena with many demanding their money back. The show did manage to continue though, albeit with only a handful of patrons.

Speaking to this reporter after the incident, the boy's mother who chose not to be named said:

"Ah hear de show was going to be real good and muh son wanted to see it real bad. Dey dong here since March and ah decided to take de boy to see it because dey supposed to leave next weekend. When de clown call up muh son to de arena, he didn't show no fear or nuttin' because he is a brave boy."

She continued:

"It was wen de clown do de camera joke an' hand muh son de picture of de monkey ah get blasted vex one time. When muh son come back to de seating area ah tell him leh we go because de cyah be insulting yuh so. Dem Mexican people too damn racist. Ah glad too dat de crowd let dem know dat wen dey started shoutin' and dat a lot ah dem leave too. We ha' to show dem Mexican and dem how we feel man. Ah glad we get refunded because it woulda be a riot in dat Circus today."

The irate and upset woman went on:

"Dis is how dem damn Mexican and dem does tink about we black people. An' jus' imagine ah used to feel sorry for dem because of how Donald Trump call dem all kinda racist tings."

She concluded:

"Buh it look like dey eh no better dan Donald Trump an' dey jus' as racist. Ah hope dey never come back to Trinidad again."
