Former Women's Strawweight Champion Joanna Jedrzejczyk is claiming that she was robbed following her unanimous decision loss to Rose Namajunas at UFC 223 last night in New York. The Polish Fighter, speaking to reporters after her failure to regain the title that she lost in spectacular fashion to the same opponent in November last year, said this:
"Thees result tonight was thee wrong decision by thee judges. I was robbed. Even a blind man could have seen that I won thee fight. I don't know wot thee hell those judges were theenking. I tried my best out there and even a blind man could have seen that I was wearing Rose down weeth my leg kicks."
She went on:
"That beetch had no answer for them. In fact, I theenk it will take at least two weeks for all the redness and swelling on them to go down. Rose knows that I beat her good. I landed more blows to her and anybody who ees neutral could have seen that I won thee fight. She only took me down once and you are going to tell me that was thee only reason why thee judges gave her thee fight?"
The furious Pole continued:
"That ees utter bullsheet. But I theenk thee only way that I was going to ween these fight tonight was eef I had won outright by knocking her thee hell out. But unfortunately I was unable to do so. Thees is nothing more than utter cheating because thee UFC is clearly of thee view that there must be an Amereecan Champion in the Women's Division."
She didn't let up on her criticism of the UFC or American fighters as she said:
"You see, thee UFC is afraid that too many non-Amereecan women are dominating. Ever since their poster girl Ronda lost her Bantamweight title, then Holly Holm and Miesha Tate who's reigns as UFC Champions couldn't last as long as an ice block in thee Sahara, the Amereecans are afraid that their women are not as dominant as they were before. And of course, when I took thee Strawweight Title from Carla Esparza back in 2014 and then I left Jessica Penne a bloody mess at UFC Fight Night een Berlin 2015, they have eet out for me. So Rose comes along and dethrones me and they all celebrate because they have their new Amereecan poster girl now. But Rose was just lucky last year and thees time she has the judges on her side so of course they have to geev the Amereecan poster girl thee win."
Jedrzejczyk then hinted at a third possible showdown between Namajunas and herself as she concluded:
"I definitely want a rematch with Rose because she knows for a fact that I am thee better fighter. Thee third meeting shall be at a neutral venue like Brazeel and there I will make sure that thee Rose loses all of eets thorns."
