A new member has just been added to the Brangelina clan. In a somewhat unorthodox move, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt recently flew to France and adopted a little white child from a Paris orphanage. Writing on her Facebook page about the latest development in her life, the Oscar-winning Actress had this to say:
"I am so proud to let the whole world know that I just became a mother once again. I have returned from the French capital with my newly-adopted little child, two-year old Francois."
A picture of Jolie hugging and kissing the blond, blue-eyed boy next to the Eiffel Tower accompanied the quote. Many visitors to her page expressed shock at what they saw. One visitor had this to say:
"I honestly can't believe what I am seeing. You mean to tell me that the child is white? I thought Angelina only had a fascination for "exotic-looking" children? "
Contacted to give further details about what prompted her to go against what she normally does and adopt a white child, Jolie said:
"Well as you know in recent times there have been many deadly terrorist attacks in France which have resulted in the numerous loss of innocent lives. Unfortunately a lot of those victims were white. I just had to show the world that it is not only exotic children that I love and that I do also love white children. Do you have any idea what it is like living in France in fear of not knowing when the next terrorist attack will happen? In addition to which I think he kinda resembles Brad and could pass as his biological son."
Jolie concluded by saying that little Francois will not be the last child she adopts and that she has plans to visit a Syrian orphanage later in the year so that she can adopt a little Arab child whose parents were killed by ISIS.
