Valentina Shevchenko calls out Nicco Montano following emphatic UFC Belem win

Following her devastating win over the previously unbeaten Priscilla Cachoeira at UFC Belem on Saturday night, Valentina Shevchenko, who goes by the nickname "Bullet", has called out the current Flyweight Champion Nicco Montano. Speaking to reporters following her complete and utter demolition of the hapless Brazilian, Shevchenko had this to say:

"I hope you are watching Nicco. I want you next. I must give Priscilla great respect for the heart and courage that she showed tonight by actually coming out to fight me in front of her expectant home fans. I knew that she promised to knock me out but I am sorry that I had to spoil her plans. Unfortunately that's the way it goes. Sometimes home support just isn't enough."

Cachoeira had absolutely no answer to Shevchenko's fighting skills and power as she was taken down by the Kyrgyz-Peruvian fighter who landed a vicious elbow that split the Brazilian above the left eye as blood spurted everywhere and left the Octagon floor red as the stunned pro-Cachoeira crowd looked on in horror. The one-sided beat down continued in the second round before Shevchenko finally ended the bout by submitting Cachoeira with a rear naked choke. It was a UFC debut that Cachoeira would want to forget.

Shevchenko then boasted that she would be the next Flyweight Champion as she continued:

"I know that Nicco is quaking in her boots right now because she is fully aware of the fact that her days as Flyweight Champion are numbered and it is only a matter of time before I become the real Champion. So if you are watching and hearing me Nicco - be afraid. Be very afraid. I am eagerly anticipating a fight with you for the title that I rightly deserve."

She ended by saying:

"You can run how much you want from me for now but you damn well know that it is virtually impossible to dodge a Bullet and based on my performance here tonight you should also be aware of the amount of damage just one Bullet can cause."
