Is your pre-workout putting you in a life-threatening situation?
All across the country people are suddenly dropping from heart attacks during and post-workout. There wasn't much of an up-roar until movie star, Terry Crews, who had claimed to use pre-workout himself had been hospitalized. He believes that "It was all that 'pre' that got [him] here" and that "Too much caffeine really took its toll on [him]." Luckily for Crews, a normal heart rate was sustained after his traumatic incident and he claims that he has kicked the "Pre."
In recent studies, performed by Dr. Robert Sumner, overuse and exposure to pre-workout has been linked to many tragic cases during and after gym usage. He stated that "The human body just can't undergo the amount of strain caused by such high levels of caffeine accompanied by strength training" and "People really need to cut it out of their workout routine."
Many commonly used brands of pre-workout whom wish to remain unnamed have been speaking out against the topic and stating that they, "as an unregulated substance, cannot be held accountable for the amount of caffeine ingested by the user or any accompanied side-effects" and that "there is no solid research linking pre-workout to such detrimental health conditions."
It's worth a second look at to how negative common pre-workouts can be affecting your body.
