Extraordinary footage of Barack and Michelle Obama dancing to Star Wars music during a celebration of Star Wars day (May the Fourth [be with you]) is to be used in the next upcoming film. The as-yet untitled Episode 8, directed by wonderfully bearded Rian Johnson, is set to include part of the footage in an extended cantina sequence. Producer Marcia Blanks, explains:
"The footage is just too hyper-galactically good not to use. We've persuaded Rian to include it, either in the background or perhaps even on the equivalent of a flat-screen TV in the background that aliens probably use to watch sports on. It's going to be great."
The footage has been criticised in some circles as a possibly blatant attempt by the Obamas to boost their PR prior to being ousted from the White House. Several Republican stooges have taken to Twitter to decry the move, suggesting it proves the desperation of Democrats to gain votes and garner good will from the public. Others, however, have fought back, suggesting that Trump's hair looks like a Tribble.
"Trumps hair is a tribble - I'm convinced of it. It looks like one because it is one. Amazing. #trumptribblehair"
The next Star Wars film is due out December 2018, starring Mark Hamill, one of the blokes from Lost, and a set of gardening gloves.
