Filled with guilt because she had been appropriating black culture for so long, YouTube twerking sensation Lexy Panterra has officially apologized for insulting black women in her videos. Ms. Panterra, who has gained a huge following of male fans over the years, and whose Lex Twerkout videos have gotten millions of hits, did a YouTube video in which she can be seen in her bedroom wearing loose pajamas with tears streaming down her face saying:
"I made this video to officially apologize to black women everywhere for the way I have been mocking them in my videos and the way I used their culture to gain fame and money. I am oh so terribly sorry. I sincerely hope all the black women out there whom I have insulted with my blatant and shameless cultural appropriation will find it somewhere in their hearts to forgive me." She continued: "It was never my intention to insult anyone. I just thought that twerking was fun and that it was something that I enjoyed. However, I didn't realize that I was hurting so much people with my antics. I don't even have a big enough ass to twerk and yet I did it with such effortless ease. The next time I will try to make videos doing more typical white girl dances like ballet or two-step. I will never twerk again. Black women, please forgive me."
Many You Tubers welcomed the move. One commentator going by the name Nubian Goddess said:
"I am glad that that no ass trailer trash heifer has finally realized the error of her ways and that I won't have to see her sorry ugly ass twerk again. I really hate her."
Questioned by another You Tuber going by the name Aryan Princess as to why is it that she hates her so much, seeing that she had the audacity to watch her videos, Nubian Goddess replied:
"Bitch STFU."
