Swedish woman arrested and charged with hate crime after stabbing immigrant to death

A Swedish woman has been arrested and charged with a hate crime after stabbing an immigrant to death. The shocking incident which was caught on surveillance camera shows the blonde woman walking down a street in Malmo at night wearing a black short skirt and white tube top, while carrying a black hand-bag on her shoulder. She is approached from behind by a bearded man who appears to be Middle Eastern. The immigrant seems to tell her something but the woman pays him no attention. The victim then proceeds to come in front of the woman's path in order to get her attention and he grabs her arm. Enraged, the woman then pulls out what appears to be a pointed nail file from her purse and deals the man several stabs to the chest.

As the victim falls to the ground clutching his chest and bleeding profusely, the woman appears to taunt him a bit and then hurries off in the direction in which she was initially going. The man would die from his stab wounds a few minutes later. The woman was arrested and charged with a hate crime murder the next day.

The Malmo Police Chief, Erik Larsson released this statement regarding the incident:

"We have the suspect in our custody. Her name is Tilde Karlsson. She was arrested at her home after we obtained a warrant for her arrest. She did confess to her crime and did not deny that it was her in the video. But the reason she gave us was quite shocking indeed. She told us that she did it because she detests immigrants in her country who don't look European. This is clearly a woman who is full of hate. Such a crime warrants a maximum penalty and based on her confession, there is no doubt that she will go to jail for life."
