President Donald Trump has become the butt of Twitter jokes once again. This time it is for a ridiculous Tweet in which he mistook the South Korean city and host of next year's Winter Olympics, Pyeongchang for the North Korean Capital of Pyongyang and for getting his history wrong.
In this latest instance of the Commander-in-Chief putting his foot in his mouth, Trump tweeted @realDonaldTrump:
"Just imagine an oppressive regime like the one in Pyongyang is hosting the Winter Olympics next year. How the IOC could ever allow Rocket Man to pull this off is beyond me. Team USA should boycott this Olympics just like they did the Moscow Summer Olympics in 1980 when the Soviets illegally occupied Azerbaijan."
Many Twitter users were quick to poke fun at Trump for his lack of knowledge regarding geography and history. Among those was, not surprisingly, Hillary Clinton who responded: @HillaryClinton:
"SMH. A man who is ignorant of history, geography and ultimately ideas. That America more or less sums up Donald Trump. Our so-called President is a joke. And the sad thing is he will probably never delete that tweet."
Trump replied @realDonaldTrump:
"You are right crooked Hillary. I will not delete the tweet. In fact, it is probably harder to delete than the 33,000 emails on your private server, some of which contained classified information. And the sad thing is you will probably never go to jail."
